Telangana PSC Group 1 new pattern

Telangana State Public Service Commission is shortened as TSPSC. Telangana is a newly formed state, and it is recognized as a 29th state in India. Previously public service commission of AP and Telangana are combined in one PSC known as APPSC.  After separation from Andhra Pradesh, it formed new PSC in 2014. Its Chairman is Ghanta Chakrapani. He had credited first chairperson f Telangana PSC. Its main aim is to provide jobs to all people and demolish unemployment in their state. It is releasing thousands of notifications to recruit new people to various posts like Group 1, Group 2, Group 3, Group 4 jobs. It conducts exam written exam and interview for applied candidates to recruit efficient and capable employees.

TSPSC Group 1 services syllabus

Paper I- General Essay
The examinee has to write 3 essays one from each section compulsorily. Each section contains three topics. Each Essay carries 50 marks.

SECTION III: Data Interpretation and Problem Solving
  • Data appreciation and interpretation using ratios, percentages and averages.
  • Drawing conclusions from the data present in tabular, graphical and diagrammatical forms and to point out deficiencies, limitations or inconsistencies therein.

  • Sequences and Series: Analogies of numbers and alphabets, completion of blank spaces in a, b, c, d, odd thing out, missing number in a sequence or series.
  • Coding and decoding problems: A given word or group of letters in English are to be coded or decoded based on the given code(s).
  • Date, time and arrangement problems: Calendar and clock problems, blood relationship and seating arrangements.
Passage Analysis: A duly structured situation will be presented to the candidates and they will be asked to analyze and suggest their own solution to the problem arising out of situation. Alternatively, they may be called upon to prove the understanding of the situation by answering certain searching questions based on the situation.
