AP PGECET Eligibility Criteria
Applicants who are interested to take admission in postgraduate programme must satisfy all the criteria. Candidates should be the citizen of India. Also, should have the domicile certificate of Andhra Pradesh. Candidates must satisfy the local/non local status requirements. Applicants must have passed B.E./B.Tech from the recognized University with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST category candidates) or contestants must have passed the qualifying examination as B.Pharma from the recognized University with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST category candidates).
Application/Registration Fee and Selection Procedure
Applicants, who are going to apply for AP PGECET Application Form they have to pay the application fee/registration fee for AP PGECET Entrance Test that is candidates need to pay sum of Rs. 800/- (Rs 400/- in case of SC/ST). Candidate wants to appear for more than one test, separate registration fee has to be paid for each test. The late fee is Rs. 500/-, 2000/-, 5000/- and 10000/- as per the dates of filling the late application form. Applying candidates need to make payment through debit or credit card and can also pay the fee at AP online centre. Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their marks obtained in Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test. So aspirants need to qualify in this test to get admission in postgraduate programmes.
AP PGECET Exam Pattern
Candidates who want to take admission and looking for exam pattern can go through this description to know each pin pointed detail for exams. The AP PGECET Examination will be held through offline mode that will include Pen Paper Mode. Examination for Post graduate programme will be conducted in two shifts that are forenoon and afternoon. This examination will be two hours duration examination (120 minutes). Total 120 questions will be asked by candidates in the examination and the AP PGECET question paper will comprise of total 120 marks. MCQS will be asked to examine the knowledge of applicants. Each question will carry four answer options, questions will be asked only in English language. One mark will be given to the candidates for correct answers. There is no negative marking scheme. Procedure to Apply for AP PGECET Notification 2017
To get admission candidates need to go through these steps:
Step 1: First of all candidates are required to visit official website of organization that is www.appgecet.org
Step 2: Then, press on apply online tab that is available on the menu bar of the home page and make payment of registration fee.
Step 3: Now need to fill the details for payment verification such as transaction id, date of birth etc and press “proceed” tab.
Step 4: Fill AP PGECET Online Application Form within correct manner such as name, category, local area status, address, Qualifying degree etc
Step 5: when all details are complete you are required to upload scanned passport size photographs and signature.
Step 6: After completing the application form, hit on submit button and take hard copy of the form for future usage.
Step 7: candidates are advised to bring below mentioned documents at the time of counselling for verification.
