SSC CGL Tire 1 Exam Pattern
It will be MCQ type Question Paper which is going to held through online mode. Question paper will be divided into 4 sections- General intelligence & reasoning, General Awareness/GK, Quantitative aptitude & English comprehension. In total, it consists of 100 questions for 200 marks & the duration of the examination will be 75 minutes. There is negative marking of 0.50 marks for each incorrect answer.
SSC CGL Tier II Exam Pattern
Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level Examination will be MCQ type and will be conducted through online mode. Question paper will be divided into 4 sections- Quantitative ability (Paper I), English language & Comprehension (Paper II), Statistics (Paper III) & General studies (Paper IV Finance & Economics). As per schedule of SSC CGL, Paper I & II are compulsory for all the posts & paper II is only for the post of Statistical Investigator Gr. II & Compiler & Paper IV will only be for the post of Assistant Audit Officer. It will be total 200 marks & the duration of the examination will be 2 hours. There is negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer in paper II attempted by contender.

The selection of the applicants will be done on the basis of their performance in Data Entry Skill Test/Computer Proficiency Test which will be conducted by the selection committee of Staff Selection Commission.
Procedure to fill SSC CGL Application Form 2017-18

For Part I – Registration
Firstly, you have to log on to official site of SSC CGL which is ssc.nic.in now; you have to click on SSC CGL Application Form link. A new page will appear where you have to tap on ‘Apply Now’ button. Get registered for your Staff selection commission CGL exam by filling necessary details such as your Name, Father’s Name, date of birth, email ID, mobile number etc. After that, fill category, communication address details and adhaar card number. As per the form details, column 1 to 2 contains exam centre and code. Enter all the details carefully. At last, press “I agree” button after reading information carefully. Subsequent to it, page with Registration No. will be generated. Take it with you. Now, pay requisite fee only through bank challan or through SBI Net Banking/any Credit or Debit Card. After depositing fee, continue with the Part II registration. Remember, you have to use registration number and date of birth in order to continue to Part II registration.

Part II – Filling up the application form
Now, you have to fill up your SSC Combined Graduate Level Application Form. It’s the time to pay fees by uploading of photograph and scanned signature. You can opt Pay by cash option by clicking on continue button which is done after generating the challan. Now, enter your Registration Number. At last, pay your desired application fees after uploading scanned photograph and Signature. Later on, you will receive email regarding successful registration of your SSC Combined Graduate Level Application Form. Don’t forget to take a print out of it for future reference.
