The UP Judicial Service CJ Prelims Exam Pattern consists of the following features: The Preliminary Examination is of objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). It consists of 2 papers such as General Knowledge and Law. Duration of each paper is 2 hours. Paper 1 consists of GK and is of 150 marks and Paper 2 consists of Law Subject and is of 300 marks. There will be negative marking for each wrong answer marked in the exam. The UPPSC Civil Judge Mains Exam Pattern consists of Conventional type i.e, it consists of descriptive questions. Here will be 5 papers such as General Knowledge, Language, Law – I (Substantive Law), Law-II (Procedure and Evidence), and Law-III (Penal, Revenue and Local Laws).
