CEED 2018 Exam Pattern

Applicants are hereby notified that the CEED Exam will conduct in two papers i.e. paper-A, paper-B. Paper-A is an online process, and Paper-B is an offline exam. CEED paper-A will be organized for 100 marks. In paper-A, it consists of three sections, i.e., section-I, Section- II, Section- III. In the first section, they will give questions in numerical answer type for 10 marks. In section II, they will give questions is MSQ for 20 marks. In section III, they will give questions in MCQ for 70 marks. Paper-B consists of 5 questions for 100 marks.

Course: The exam is mainly organized for M.Des and Ph.D courses in design.

Number of papers: CEED is conducted in two parts i.e. Part-A and Part-B. Part B tests the candidate designing and drawing skills.

Mode of Examination: CEED Part-A is online Exam while CEED Part-B is offline exam.

Language of Question Paper: The language of question paper will be English only.

Number of Questions: In PART-A, total 50 questions will be asked. Part-A contains 3 sections. Section-1 will contain 5 questions, Section-2 will contain 10 questions and the remaining 35 question will be contained by Section-3.

Type of Questions: In PART-A all objective type questions will be asked (MCQ, Multiple Select Questions and Numerical Answer Questions).

Exam Duration: 1 hour will be allotted for Part-A and 2 hours for Part-B.

Marking Scheme: 2 marks will be allotted for each correct answer.

Negative Marking: There is a negative marking for Part-A. 0.6 mark be deducted in first and third sections of part-A.
