Penalty for Wrong Answers (Applicable to both – Preliminary and Main examination)
There will be negative marking in both Preliminary as well as in Main examination. For every wrong answer marked near about one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that particular question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. However, in case any of the question will left blank, that is, no response is marked by the applying candidates, then there will be no negative marking in that case.

Guidelines for scanning and Upload of Photograph & Signature
Candidates who are applying against IBPS PO Notification are advised to get ready with scanned image of his/her photograph and signature as per the specifications given below.
- Candidate’s photo should be a recent passport style color picture taken against a light-colored background.
- Dimensions of photograph should be 200 x 230 pixels whereas Size of file should be between 20kb–50 kb.
- Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable and must ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50kb.
- Applying contenders has to sign on white paper with Black/Blue Ink pen only and it must be noted that signature should be signed only by the applying person and not by any other person.
