For M.Ed: B.Ed./B.A. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed./B.El.Ed. OR D.El.Ed. with an undergraduate degree/ B.A. or B.Sc with B.Ed Degree. For M.F.A.: Four Year B.F.A. Degree course from the same discipline or B.A.(Hons.) with at least 60% marks For M.Tech.: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in concerned discipline or MCA/M.Sc. (Computer Science)/ M.Sc.(IT)/ MSc.(IMCA) or equivalent with not less than 60% marks For L.L.M.: LL.B. with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate or equivalent grade points. For M.C.A.: Any graduate in Science/Natural Science/Social Science/ Engineering/Technology with 50% marks at least, and Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 or higher level or at least 50% marks in BCA/BSc.(IT/CS).

Eligibility Criteria for PG Diploma Programs

For P.G. Diploma in Computer Applications: Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks in aggregate and Mathematics at 10th level and for P.G. Diploma in Digital Cartography& P.G. Diploma in Remote Sensing & GIS Application: B.A./ B.Sc. in Geography and allied subjects (Geology, Agriculture Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Civil Engg., Planning & Architecture) with 50% marks. For P.G. Diploma in Urdu Mass Media: At least 55% marks in Urdu/Persian/Arabic at undergraduate level. For P.G. Diploma in Iranology:  Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate. For P.G. Diploma in Educational Management: Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks or post graduation.

For P.G. Diploma in Journalism (Hindi Medium): Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution with not less than 45% marks in aggregate. Working knowledge of Hindi is essential. For P.G. Diploma in T.V. Journalism (Hindi Medium): Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution with not less than 45% marks in aggregate. For P.G. Diploma in Broadcast Technology: Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) or equivalent in Physics / Electronics / Computer Science/IT/BCA or Engineering with at least 50% marks in aggregate. For P.G. B.P.T.: Intermediate or equivalent examination under 10+2 system with Biology, Physics, Chemistry & English securing at least 50% marks in aggregate of PCB from a recognized Board/University.

B.A. LL.B. (Hons): (i) Passed the class XII examination in the 10 + 2 scheme or its equivalent in any discipline securing in the aggregate not less than 50% of the total marks in all the core subjects and English Language put together and (ii) Age per Bar Council of India rules, Candidates who belong to general category their age should be 20 years and candidates of SC/ ST/ OBC category should be 22 years of age as on 1st July of the year of admission.

Advanced Diploma Programs Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have B.A. with Persian or Diploma in Modern Persian from a recognized institution with not less than 45% marks in aggregate of best 5-papers for Advanced Diploma in Modern Persian and Senior Secondary/Higher Secondary or equivalent School Certificate with not less than 50% marks in aggregate of best 5-papers along with Diploma in Turkish OR B.A. in any discipline with 45% marks in aggregate with Diploma in Turkish language or C-1 Level Tomer course for Advanced Diploma in Turkish. Those have Diploma or an equivalent exam from a University or a recognized institution in the concerned language, may apply for Advanced Diploma in French/ in Italian/ in Portuguese/ in Russian/ in Spanish.

Applicants have passed Senior Secondary/ Higher Secondary or equivalent School Certificate with not less than 45% marks in aggregate of best 5-papers along with Diploma in Pashto language for Advanced Diploma in Pashto. Candidates, who are applying for Advanced Diploma in Counselling Psychology, should have M.A. Psychology with 50% marks in aggregate and applying for Advanced Diploma in Modern Arabic Language and Translation, have done BA (Hons.) Arabic (2 semesters/1st year) or Diploma in Arabic from any recognized university/institute with not less than 55% marks in subject concerned. For Advanced Diploma in Public Health, have possessed post raduate degree in Social Sciences with minimum 55% Marks from a recognized University.

Diploma in Modern Arabic Language & Translation: Senior Secondary School Certificate with Arabic or Certificate in Modern Arabic of a recognized University/Institute or a degree from Arabic Madrasa recognized by the Jamia equivalent to 10+2 with not less than 45% marks in English

Diploma in Uzbek: Certificate course in Uzbek language from any university or recognized institution, along with Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2) with 45% marks in aggregate of best 5-papers or an equivalent qualification

Diploma in French/ Russian/ Italian/ Portuguese/ Spanish: Certificate of Proficiency or an equivalent exam from a University or a recognized institution in the concerned language

Diploma in Tourism & Travel Management: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent examination with at least 45% marks in aggregate. OR (ii) Senior Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent examination with Certificate in Tourism & Travel Management of a minimum of six months duration offered by a recognized University / Institution with at least 45% marks in aggregate.

Diploma in Translation Proficiency in English: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution or an equivalent examination with not less than 45% marks in aggregate. OR (ii) Certificate in Translation Proficiency from any recognized University and Senior Secondary / Higher Secondary or equivalent school certificate with not less than 50% marks in aggregate of best 5-papers.

Diploma in Disaster Management: Senior Secondary or equivalent School Certificate with not less than 50% marks in aggregate of best of 5-papers.

Intensive Diploma in Chinese Language: Masters degree with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. The applicant would need to have some knowledge of and interest in China and also an aptitude and capability to learn foreign language.

Diploma in Chinese Language: Candidates must have passed Certificate in Chinese Language or equivalent from a recognized institution

Diploma in Unani Pharmacy: Senior Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognized board.

How to fill Jamia Millia Islamia Application Form?

For Indian Candidates:

Step 01: First of all, applicants, who are going to take JMI Admission, have to fill application form which is available on the official website that is jmicoe.in.

Step 02: Now, hit on “JAMIA MILLIA ISLAMIA Prospectus 2017-18” link given in the section of “Admission 2017”which has shown at the left side of the homepage.

Step 03: Then, Read the complete prospectus carefully and hit on “press here to apply online for admission at JMI for session 2017-18” link and Press on “REGISTER YOURSELF” tab and  fill the required details such as Name, Father Name, Category, Password and others or must fill security code (visible on screen) at specified place on the form.

Step 04: After filling details, press “Submit” button and press “Sign Up” button. After successfully registration, login with your email address and password and make the payment of application fee.

Step 05: Appliers have to fill the correct and complete information in online application form.

Step 06: After filling form, need to upload your scanned coloured passport size photograph (Maximum 100 KB in size) in JPG/JPEG format with White Background and Softcopy of candidate’s signature (Maximum 100 KB in size) in JPG/JPEG format.

Step 07: After completion of all process, check it at once and press “Submit” button for the final submission of it.

Step 08: At last, take a print out of it for future reference.
