Aspirants must have Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university and shorthand speed of 160 words per minute in English and Hindi. Applicants should have Certificate in computer course, recognized by “All India Council for Technical Education” (AICTE)/Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Courses (DOEACC) or courses equivalent to ‘O’ Level in terms of syllabus and duration of course as prescribed by DOEACC. Emoluments and Selection Process

Appointment process

Selection committee will conduct written interview and Stenography Test to check the knowledge and skills of contenders. Stenography test will consist 100 marks (Dictation in English/Hindi). Not more than 5% errors will be allowed for passing the Stenography Test. The marks secured by the candidates in the Written Test will not be counted while preparing the final selection list. Those candidates, who will be secured required marks in written test, will be called for personal interview. Applicants must secure the minimum qualifying marks in the Personal Interview round for obtaining Vacancies in Parliament of India. Shortlisted candidates will obtain pay band of INR 15600-39100 (PB-3) + Grade Pay: INR 5400 (Pre-revised).

Exam pattern

Written exams will be divided into two parts i.e. Part A (General Knowledge and Current Affairs) and Part B (General English).  100 multiple choice objective types of question consisting of 50 questions in each part. The time duration for completing exam is 50 minutes. Applicants will have to qualify each part at the requisite standard separately. The minimum cut off percentages of marks in Written Test in an examination for UR is 50%, for OBC is 45% and for ST categories is 40%.
