Prime minister dreamt to offer Free LPG Connection to 5 Crore BPL families within 3 years, from which 1.5 Crore connections have been made already. But now, govt has made mandatory to have an Aadhar card for availing this welfare scheme. According to new modifications, women’s from BPL families who wish to take Free LPG Connection have to deliver a proof of Aadhar card while filling formalities of LPG Connection.
# Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY)
In order to reduce the crisis situation of framers, Narendra Modi has announced a scheme titled as Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY). This scheme was launched on 11th October 2014 in order to offer insurance in case of damage to kharif as well as rabi crops.
