Question: Explain the formula to estimate T-score and evaluate the criteria to qualify in aptitude test.

Answer: Contenders need to score 42 marks in each test. T-score is the normalized score statistically ³ obtain T-score formulated for application all over. The formula for computing the T-score is as under:

Answer: Hon’ble High Court, Delhi has clarified that, the copies of question paper, OMR sheet and answer key cannot be provided under any circumstances. Therefore, “Re-evaluation of answer sheet” is an action and not information to be provided to the applicant under RTI Act 2005. Thus, request for reevaluation of answer sheet cannot be acceded to.

Answer: Yes, it is obligatory for Scribes to carry their Call Letter and ID proof to the examination center.

Question: What is the amount and mode of payment of application fee?

Answer: Aspirants that belongs to the reserved categories such as SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen and Physically Handicapped are exempted from paying application fee. However, in case of other, it is Rs.40/- having pay scale up to 3050 – 4590 and Rs 60/- (Rs. Sixty) for all the post having pay scale higher than 3050 – 4590.

Payment of application fee can be remitting using IPO or Demand Draft. IPO/DD should not be of a date prior to the date of notification. The Demand Draft should be from a Scheduled Bank with a validity of not less than 6 months. Cash/ Money Order or any other form of fee is not acceptable. IPO / DD should be drawn in favor of ASSISTANT SECRETARY, RAILWAY RECRUITMENT BOARD PAYABLE AT MUMBAI.

Question: Can I change my Post Preference?

Answer: Consequent to the increase in Grade Pay, the post of Assistant Station Master has been upgraded as Station Master, GP Rs. 4200 and post of Traffic Assistant has been upgraded to GP Rs. 2400. Hence, candidates will be provided one more chance to revise post preference order.
