- Aptitude Test
Aptitude test is organized for the candidates who have applied against the vacant posts of Assistant Station Master (ASM) and Traffic Assistant. Further, aptitude test is divided into four phases namely Selective Attention Test, Spatial Scanning Test, Personality Test and Intelligence Test.
Selective Attention Test: This test is set up to evaluate your eye-q level and in order to access how can you balance two numbers and decide whether they are the same or not. In this test, candidates need to add odd numbers, for instance 1, 3, 5, etc., and are required to represents which of the five options shows the correct sum. While counting, even numbers are to be ignored.
Intelligence Test: This test comprises of five figures, from which four will be same in a certain way. In it, individuals need to find out the different figure.
Spatial Scanning Test: Spatial Scanning Test is set in order to access how speedily and precisely you can see the objects in order to match them. Under this test, appliers need to search for the shortest route between two stations. Circles represent the barricade that cannot be crossed, Dark lines point out streets, Squares containing numbers represent houses.
Personality Test: This test is defined by its name itself. Candidates have to answer the questions as per their interest. It is mandatory for all contenders to qualify this round.
- Typing Skill Test
Job finders who have applied for Junior Accounts Assistant cum typist (JAA), Senior Clerk cum typist, Sr. Time Keeper post need to attend Typing Skill Test. Appliers have to type 25 WPM in Hindi and 30 WPM in English on their Personal Computer. The facility of using Editing tools and spell check will be hindered in Personal Computers. Typing Test is qualifying in nature. Marks obtained in Typing Skill Test would not be considered while preparing merit list.
- Document Verification
Aspirants scrutinized for the vacancies of Commercial Apprentice (CA), Traffic Apprentice (TA), Enquiry -cum- Reservation Clerk (ECRC) and Goods Guard need to appear for documents verification round. Appearing contenders need to carry documents in original along with the photocopies. List of documents required at the time of scrutiny of documents are stated as follows:
- Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC
- Matriculation Certificate (Proof of date of birth)
- Degree Certificate/Semester wise mark sheets
- Receipt of Payment if made through SBI Challan
