UPSC Exam Pattern 2017-18:

There will two papers in UPSC Prelims Exam, (Paper I) will be of General ability and (Paper II) will be of General science. Both the papers will be of 200 marks each containing objective type questions in Paper I that are MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions). Check further details from the below given information:

Negative Marking Scheme:

There will be negative marking in all the Union Public Service Commission Examinations. As per negative marking scheme there will be deduction in the marks of candidate for wrong answers. For each wrong answer one third of total marks is deducted, candidates must note if more than one answer is marked for a particular question by an aspirant then also there will be deduction in the marks of aspirants.
