NEET Phase 2 Details

National Eligibility cum entrance exam is abbreviated as NEET.  Central Board of Secondary education is held responsible to conduct this examination. NEET exam is a national level entrance test that helps aspirants who are seeking for admissions into medicine courses like MBBS and BDS. NEET Eligibility Criteria

# Criteria 1 (Nationality): Individuals who are applying against NEET phase 2 notification must be a citizen of India or OCI (Overseas Citizen of India). Aspirants who are applying from the states of Assam, J&K and Meghalaya have to produce Aadhaar card.

# Criteria 2 (Age Limitations):  Lower age limit of contenders must be 17 years on 31st December of the year of admission. However, Upper age limit should be 25 years for general candidates whereas 30 years for reserved category individuals.

# Criteria 3 (Attempts): Candidates can apply against National Eligibility cum Entrance Test only three times until he/she cross the upper age limit.

# Criteria 4 (Educational Qualification): Aspirants should have completed/appearing  12th or its equivalent examination from any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology or any other elective subject with English.

# Criteria 5 (Percentage Criteria): Individuals who are applying for NEET phase 2 notification should have obtained minimum 50% marks in PCB group (Unreserved Category aspirants and 45% (for General PH Category applicants) and 40% (for SC/ST/OBC Category candidates).

Seat Reservation

As per rules of Central Board of Secondary Education, seats are reserved for different categories. Have a look!!!!

NEET Application Fee

Unreserved And OBC Category applicants who are applying for NEET phase 2 notification 2017 needs to remit an amount of Rs.1400/- towards application fee. While, Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe /PH category aspirants are required to pay Rs.750/-. Individuals who are unable to pay the fee till prescribed time limit, need to deposit Rs.1400/- (For all Categories) as late fee along with the specified application fee. Payment of application fee can be made using online mode via Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking/E-Wallet.

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test will organized in pen and paper mode, that is, offline mode. Question paper will comprises of 180 questions with single correct answer. Time duration of exam will be of 3 hours. There will be negative marking for every wrong answer, as 1 mark will be deducted for wrong response as negative marking.  However, 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer.  Question paper will be consist questions from various topics such as Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany.

    The highest one only the neet 2 score….

      Candidates who appeared for NEET Phase-2, though he/she attended NEET-1, only NEET 2 Marks will be counted.
      Students who are ready to give up their candidature for NEET Phase-1 are only eligible to write NEET Phase-2…

    i have written NEET-1 and my score may come around 300.. Is it possible for my seat with 300 score for private medical college.. Is the score bad or its fine ? So i am confused should i go for NEET-2 or no ?
