The main endeavor of this PMS scheme is to provide the opportunities for higher education to weaker sections of minority communities’ that are Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, and Buddhists, Jains to develop their employability rate.

Assigning for Girl Students

30% of scholarship will be allocated for girl students. In case plenty number of suitable girl students are not presented, then the balance earmarked scholarships may be awarded to eligible boy students.

Post Matric scholarship scheme eligibility

Post Matric Scholarship will be provided for the complete course. Though, preservation allowance will be given for a period of 10 months only in an educational year.

Scholarship will be awarded to the candidates who have secured at least 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and the annual income of whose parents from all sources does not exceed Rs.2.00 lakh.

Selection Procedure for Post Matric Scholarship Scheme

Different scholarship for SC/ST candidates, there is a fixed number of scholarships for minorities are small and limited. Students belong to BPL families, having the lowest income shall be given first choice in the ascending order.

Post Matric Scholarship Renewal Scheme

The scholarship, once awarded, may be renewed during the next academic year of the course on the production of certificate that the student has secured 50% marks in the examination.

Post Matric scholarship Application Procedure

The Post Matric scheme will be announced by the concerned State Government well in time, through advertisements in the leading language newspapers and local dailies and by using other suitable publicity media.

The list of credentials to be scanned & uploaded for both Fresh and Renewal Scholarships as under:

  • Student Photo
  • Institution Verification Form
  • Self declaration of Income Certificate by the student
  • Self declaration of community by the student
  • In case of Fresh: Self Attested Certificate of ‘Previous Academic Mark sheet’ as filled in Form
  • In case of Renewal: Self – Attested Certificate of Previous Year Marksheet as filled in the Form
  • Fee Receipt of current course year
  • Proof of Bank Account in the name of student
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Residential Certificate
